A field trip to Rod’s Farm was organized for 1st to 4th students, an opportunity to observe nature, enjoy with each other and explore new experiences from their surroundings.
Different activities were conducted for them like football (kicking the ball to the goal post), passing through hula hoops. They also enjoyed playing with swings, slides, and see-saw. The students were all excited and full of energy from the morning. As soon as we reached, students changed into their swimming attire and started playing in the pool. There were rain dance, waterfall and swimming pool which the students thoroughly enjoyed and helped them to develop their fine motor and gross motor skills. All the students danced on the floor with great energy during the rain dance. Even after playing for hours, they were reluctant to leave.
The students also got a chance to explore the vegetable garden and the plant nursery. Different shapes, colors, and sizes of leaves were shown to them. Children got an opportunity to see birds nest and the newly inaugurated fountain.
The day was eventful and tiring but the students had an amazing time. All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. It was a wonderful way of learning to interact and enjoy with each other.
It was a sound and safe return trip by 1 p.m.
