Students of Bloomz International School attended an assembly where they were sensitized on the hazards of incorrect disposal of plastic and their repercussions to planet Earth.

Posters and discussions were conducted to reinforce the importance of reduction and eventual eradication of plastic usage. All the students took a pledge to consciously SAY NO to plastic.

Students visited a nearby village to address the local communities on cleanliness with special focus on waste management and conservation of water.

Students marched through the village shouting slogans like ‘Live life cleaner make earth greener’, ‘Keep it clean, Keep it green’. Students also spoke to the locals on how to segregate wet and dry waste. This created awareness on Swachhata among the locals.

They also participated in an outdoor Swachhata campaign where they cleaned the areas surrounding the school. Students collected the waste and segregated them into dry and wet waste.
